Dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit cacingan yang mengakibatkan anak-anak menderita anemia dan kurang gizi, sehingga tumbuh kembangnya akan terganggu. Hari ini SD ST. IGNATIUS MEDAN mengadakan pemberian obat cacing kepada seluruh para siswa/i yang diberikan oleh Puskesmas Medan Johor.
Pemberian obat cacing diberikan secara merata oleh pihak puskesmas Medan Johor, mulai dari siswa kelas 1 SD sampai 6 SD. Pelaksanaan pemberian obat cacing dilakukan pada setiap kelas dan proses pemberian obat cacing berlangsung dengan baik dikarenakan siswa/i yang diberikan obat cacing didampingi langsung oleh guru dan wakil kepala sekolah SD ST. IGNATIUS MEDAN yang berada di kelas. Kepada para siswa/i juga diajarkan agar mencuci tangan dengan sabun terlebih dahulu sebelum makan dan sesudah makan.
Semoga pemberian obat cacing yang diberikan kepada siswa/i SD ST. IGNATIUS MEDAN memberikan manfaat yang baik terhadap tumbuh dan kembangnya para siswa/i dan terhindar dari berbagai penyakit yang disebabkan oleh cacingan.
